The Enterprise news staff works to cover every facet of city, Park County, and state news - whether it be community happenings, school, government, sports, agriculture, environment, business, churches or features about local people and events.

Since The Enterprise is a member of the Associated Press, it also prints state, national and world news. Likewise, the AP picks up Enterprise stories of statewide interest and distributes them on its media network.

In addition to local news, The Enterprise news staff produces a number of special sections throughout the year featuring local sports, schools, hunting, car care, weddings, home improvement, Christmas, and the annual visitor's guide. Also, a weekly TV schedule is included in every Thursday Enterprise.

If you have any news item that would be of interest to Park County readers, please contact one of our news staff.

We want to hear from you!

John Sullivan

Sullivan has been with The Enterprise for 40 years. A native Montanan, he is a graduate of Stanford University and also serves as president of Yellowstone Newspapers, The Enterprise's parent company, which also operates newspapers in 12 other Montana communities.

Justin Post,

Post joined The Enterprise in 2013 after working more than 10 years as a beat reporter covering city and county government, crime, corruption and the outdoors. His journalism experience includes more than five years as a staff reporter covering the environment and city-county government at The Montana Standard in Butte and reporting in north Idaho and the Youngstown, Ohio, area where he grew up along the Mahoning River.

Dwight Harriman,
Harriman began work for The Enterprise in 1992. Before coming here, he was editor of The Terry Tribune in Terry, Mont. Harriman graduated with a bachelor of arts in English from Asbury College (now Asbury University) in Wilmore, Kentucky, in 1977.

Liz Kearney, Reporter
Before joining the Enterprise in 2009, Kearney lived and worked for 16 years in West Yellowstone, where she was the founding publisher of the Yellowstone Independent Voice. She graduated from Towson University in Maryland with a bachelor of arts in English in 1987.

Nate Howard, Photo Editor

Nate comes to The Enterprise from Minnesota (mostly*) where he worked as a senior photographer at the Post-Bulletin. Nate has photographed the faces and places of Iraq, Kuwait, Kosovo, Russia, Haiti, Mexico and Scandinavia. Realizing he was prone to writing run-on sentences, Nate chose a camera for communication while in high school.

* (Born in Indiana, grew up in Michigan, discovered Montana in the 1990's, coped with Minnesota for 15 years and with his two children grown, came back to Montana.)

Samantha Hill, Community News Editor

Hill joined The Enterprise after graduating from the University of Montana in 2015 with a journalism degree. Hill completed a reporting internship at the Missoulian during college and worked as a copy editor for the Montana Kaimin. She has lived in Montana for most of her life.
