It’s time to speak up about language of Trump administration

Editor:

When I was in grade school at St. Mary’s, I was very shocked to learn that someone had his mouth washed out with soap because of the bad words that he used.

Every day I am shocked to hear the language of the present White House administration. And yet no “adults” challenge them to change their speech. Our children are watching and questioning why they are required to be respectful.  Fear, anger, name calling and bias are not addressed by our religious and political leaders.

Maybe it is time for a cleansing and a new vocabulary.  Will the “real adults” in the room please stand and speak up.
