Yellowstone National Park is open and ready to begin its National Park Service festivities in Gardiner today.

The North Entrance Road is open, a park spokeswoman said Thursday morning.

The Berry Fire in Wyoming has necessitated a temporary closure at the park's south entrance. U.S. Highway 89 between Flagg Ranch and Leeks Marina is closed, according to recent fire information. The Berry Fire is located in Grand Teton National Park.

All other park entrances and roads are open.
